Announcing the...

...NEW LOOK...

Yes! It's finally here! The new look, and the new name! Can you believe it?! For real! We atually landed our new look!!

Although it was thought about to pull a prank being it was April 1st, we decided you'd all been waiting long enough, so we'd delay no longer, and arrive on time! Thank you for your patience!

We'd love any signals you'd like to send to our control tower...letting us know if we're flying straight and level! lol! Also known as comments as to what you think of it all!

Date set for 'NEW LOOK'!

Just wanted to inform all you "PATIENT" blog readers, that my goal (providing no break-downs!) for the 'New Look' is April 1, 2009! The navigational delays we encountered were not planned on, and thus we did not arrive on schedule as planned!! Hopefully though it'll be up and running here shortly?! ;)



Also, while you're waiting, I thought maybe you'd enjoy a picture from about 1 year ago?!? It was actually one year ago today, that I (officially) found out that Josiah wanted to pursue a realtionship with me! :) Oh! Such special, joyous memories!! We serve a faithful GOD!

A life lived for His glory!

It is with heavy hearts that we come to this post. Our hearts go out to Josh, in the lose of his precious wife, Alaina, as well as to his family, and Alaina's family.

In such a great tragedy we must turn to our Savior, and His word. Psalm 62:8 has calmed our hearts as we've wrestled through this great lose; "Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us."

Alaina, is in heaven, worshiping and rejoicing around His throne, and though we mourn here, we must take comfort in the promises of God's word. He is our anchor and stay!

We'll miss you, Alaina! You're contagious, loving, Godly life lived for His glory will not be forgotten! Our prayers are with you, Josh, your family, and Alaina's family! May God's presence enfold you in this time, and the days to come! We love you!!

Hello to you faithful blog readers/followers who are still with me!?!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your patience, forbearance, perseverance, and understanding as I've much delayed in getting the 'new look' and 'new name' up and running on our blog! The computer is home for a bit(I think!:), and I'm really hoping to RELEASE our 'new look' and 'new name' within the next week!!

So please hang on to this flight just a tad bit longer..... for I'm hoping to land it here VERY, VERY SOON!:) (actually, I'm not the best at landing--so I'll have to find the pilot! lol)

Hello, to all you blog readers! Thank you for your array of comments...suggestions...and opinions...WOW! We had no clue there were so many blog 'lurkers' out there on our blog!

So, hopefully you're all still bearing with me?! Around here, things in the hanger have been pretty busy! But, I've not forgotten, and as soon as some of it comes in for a landing here, we'll have this NEW blog up and running for your viewing! ;o)

Oh, and by the way, now that all you 'lurkers' have shown your face...just 2 comments on a post should be un-heard of!!! (grin) Don't y'all agree??!!

New Years Contest!

So with a New Year dawning, and with us being newly married. We thought we'd take a

Honeymoon: Part 1

Yes! It actually allowed me to upload some pictures! So, since they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words" I'm going to let them do most of the talking!:) Enjoy!

This was at the very beginning of our trek up to the summit of Pikes Peak. What a climb it was! Switchback roads, sheer drop-offs and magnificent views! Wow!

We actually caught the 'Big Foot' crossing himself! (smile)

We arrived at the summit after nearly 2 hours of driving. It was absolutely incredible! I will never forget it!

Did you know? That America the Beautiful was penned after Kathrine Lee Bates visited the summit of Pikes Peak? I didn't, but once you've been there you can understand why someone would be so inspired!

The views at the summit of Pikes Peak were breathtaking! We serve an awesome Creator!!

I didn't know this about the Rockies, and found it fascinating!

Here we are behind the waterfall at Casa Bonita's

On the opening night of Fireproof, we headed to Denver and ate at Casa Bonita's before the movie. It was such a fun restaurant! Josiah had been there before, and it was special to get to go back with him. They had live entertainment while you were eating. Everything from music, to old type gun shows, and divers who dove from up to 28 feet into a 14 foot deep pool with a waterfall too! It was a ton of fun!!

Keep checking back...there's more to come, so long as the computer cooperates!

Attempted Honeymoon Post--

Some of you know that we spent our honeymoon in Colorado, and the rest of you just found out. (grin) My wonderful husband planned 10 marvelous days to be away, and it was so special!

The scenery was alsolutely gorgeous! This is Pikes Peak!!

We also went to Garden of the Gods. The massive rock structures were incredible!!

As to the pictures...well...you'll have to just use your imagination! (LOL!:) My computer is giving me fits about uploading them! So until it actually lets me you will just have to be creative as to what it might look like! :) You can be sure though, that I'll get them on as soon as I can. Hopefully attaining an actual 'honeymoon post'?!

So bear with me--it's STILL coming!!!

Randomness...

Guess what happened to me this morning?!? I awoke to my sweet husband laughing out loud, in his sleep at a dream he was having! So I woke him...because it was 4:30am, and I desired a little more sleep than that. It was a funny dream, but if you think I'm going to publish that here, you've got to be kidding! LOL!

The best part of it all--was that he delivered to me a GREAT BIG

KISS!

Which is nothing new...he does that every morning when I awake!!:) And that--was TOTALLY WORTH waking up for!!!
